What’s Included
- Rock River Arms LAR-PPS 5.56 NATO AR pistol
- 1x 30-round Magpul PMAG GEN M2 MOE polymer magazine
The LAR-PPS uses Rock River Arms' proprietary bufferless PDS that replaces the traditional buffer tube with over-barrel guide rods and springs. This design shortens the overall package while maintaining reliable short-stroke gas piston operation. The rear of the receiver is capped with a bufferless endcap incorporating a short 1913 rail segment.
Its 9-inch chrome-moly steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with an A2 birdcage flash hider. The 1:9 RH twist supports a broad range of 5.56 NATO loads, and factory literature notes compatibility with .223 Rem. Capacity is 30+1.
The slick-side upper deletes the forward assist and includes an ejection port cover. A full-length, T-marked Picatinny top rail (T2–T32) runs the length of the receiver and handguard for mounting accessories. The cylindrical, ribbed, ventilated handguard includes a short 6 o'clock accessory rail segment.
Ambidextrous, non-reciprocating, forward-mounted charging handles enable easy manipulation from either side. Controls are standard AR-15 layout with a left-side bolt catch, right-side magazine release, and a manual safety. The pistol wears a rubber finger-groove pistol grip for a secure hold.
