What’s Included
- Thompson Center T/C Hawken .50 caliber percussion muzzleloader rifle
The 28-inch octagonal blued steel barrel carries the correct left-flat stamping: "THOMPSON | CENTER ARMS ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE CAL 50." The barrel also bears the serial number marking at the breech on the left flat. Iron sights include a dovetailed steel front blade and an adjustable open rear.
The walnut half-stock has a right-side cheekpiece and is fitted with brass furniture: a patchbox with round lid, nose cap, trigger guard with rear spur, wedge escutcheons, ramrod thimbles, and a crescent buttplate. A single wedge key secures the fore-end, and there is a single sling swivel stud in the toe.
This Hawken uses a percussion cap sidelock action with an external hammer and is a single-shot muzzleloader. Double set triggers provide a traditional trigger arrangement well-suited to precise shooting.
Factory scroll engraving on the lockplate and hammer adds period-correct detail. The rifle is finished in blued steel with a 14.5-inch length of pull and was manufactured in the United States.
