The 24 inch steel barrel features a vent rib and porting to help manage muzzle movement and provide a clear sighting plane. It is threaded for Accu-Choke tubes and comes with a Modified choke installed, making it ready for versatile field use.
Chambered for 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells, this 500A offers flexibility across common 12 gauge loads. The bore is in excellent condition with a clean, mirror finish. Sighting is straightforward with a front bead and a mid-rib bead.
The camo-finished aluminum alloy receiver is drilled and tapped with filler screws installed. Controls include Mossberg’s ambidextrous top-tang safety. As currently set up, the capacity is 2+1.
The synthetic stock and forend are finished in camo to match the receiver and barrel. The stock includes a recoil pad and a rear sling swivel stud, with a 14.0 inch length of pull for a consistent mount and shoulder feel.
Factory markings include the receiver legend "Mossberg – Made in U.S.A. – North Haven, Conn. – 500A 12 GA." The barrel is marked "Chambered for 2 3/4 and 3 in. shells – 12 GA – 24 in. Accu-Choke," confirming its chambering and choke system.
