What’s Included
- Ruger M77 RS tang-safety bolt-action rifle in .270 Win (22-inch barrel)
This tang-safety M77 represents Ruger’s first-generation design with a two-lug bolt, a polished bolt body, and a classic round bolt knob. The action feeds from an internal box magazine and uses a hinged floorplate for quick unloading, with a stated capacity of 4 rounds.
The RS configuration hardware is present, including the banded front sight ramp and a barrel drilled and tapped for the rear sight base. The front sight blade and rear sight unit are not installed. The receiver incorporates Ruger’s integral scope mounting bases.
Construction is all steel with a gloss blued finish on the receiver and barrel. The 22-inch barrel balances well for a full-size hunting rifle in .270 Win and retains the factory banded ramp at the muzzle.
The walnut stock shows cut checkering for grip, a Ruger eagle medallion grip cap, and sling swivel studs. A ventilated recoil pad with White Line branding is installed, and the length of pull measures 13.9 inches.
