The Big Bore 94 pattern was built to handle .375 Winchester pressures, and this example retains the reinforced receiver under a polished blued finish. It carries a 20-inch round barrel, a full-length tubular magazine, and carbine-style double barrel bands with a stated capacity of 6+1.
Marked with the Angle Eject (AE) designation on the barrel and an AE-prefix serial within the early AE block, this carbine aligns with mid-1980s production. The barrel is marked New Haven, Connecticut, U.S.A., and there is no cross-bolt safety visible.
The XTR grade brings higher-polish bluing and upgraded wood. The straight-wrist walnut stock is checkered and features a raised comb. It is finished with a solid reddish rubber recoil pad and black spacer, plus a rear sling swivel stud. Length of pull measures 13.6 inches.
Sight equipment includes a hooded ramp front sight and a folding, barrel-mounted rear sight with an elevator. The left receiver wall is factory drilled and tapped for a receiver sight, and plug screws are installed.
