The GF3 series is defined by its forged front trunnion, bolt, and bolt carrier, delivering a robust core to the AKM-pattern build. This rifle uses a stamped receiver with magazine-well dimples and a ribbed top cover, staying true to the classic AKM profile while leveraging modern U.S. manufacturing.
The 16.3 in barrel is made from 4150 steel and finished with a nitride treatment. It uses a 1:9.5 twist rate and is threaded at the muzzle, fitted with an AKM slant compensator retained by a detent plunger. A 90-degree gas block and long-stroke gas piston system complete the traditional operating layout.
Furniture is the GF3 Forged Classic configuration with plum polymer components. The fixed stock provides a 12.5 in length of pull and includes a rear sling swivel. Up front, a ribbed polymer handguard with a palm swell offers a solid, heat-resistant grip surface.
Sighting is handled by a protected front post and an AKM tangent rear sight with Cyrillic-style numerals, keeping adjustments and references familiar to AK users. The rifle is chambered in 7.62x39 with a 30+1 capacity and includes a 30-round Magpul PMAG.
