This Government-length 5-inch 1911 uses a traditional GI recoil system with a checkered plug and a single-stack 8+1 capacity in .45 ACP. It is single-action only and incorporates a left-side-only manual thumb safety and a grip safety for familiar 1911 handling. The frame bears "BUTLER PA 1911 .45ACP" markings, and the barrel hood is marked "S.A. .45AUTO."
Custom slide work includes geometric tessellation on the flats, ball-end-mill scallops on the topstrap, rear cocking serrations, and a lowered and flared ejection port. The slide shows a polished top with dark flats, complementing the overall two-tone aesthetic. The barrel is crowned and paired with a fitted bushing, with polished/textured treatment on the muzzle bushing and recoil spring plug.
Ergonomics are enhanced with fine front strap checkering, a flat mainspring housing with vertical serrations, and a beavertail grip safety with a raised memory pad. The controls include a checkered magazine release, a three-hole lightened trigger, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer for a crisp, responsive feel.
Sights are clean and practical, with a dovetailed two-dot rear and a dovetailed front blade. Unique black textured grip panels feature a star motif and right-side finger-indexing scallops, providing a secure, repeatable hold that pairs well with the pistol's tuned exterior geometry.
