The Kuna uses a true roller-delayed blowback system, delivering smooth, consistent cycling with 9mm Luger. Its action is paired with an ambidextrous, 2-position safety for straightforward control from either side.
The monolithic aluminum upper is Type III hardcoat anodized black and features recessed, integral flip-up sights (front ring/post, rear aperture) and a full-length Picatinny top rail with T-marks. A rear 1913 rail section allows attachment of an optional brace/stock (not included).
The 6 in threaded barrel (1/2x28) is cold hammer-forged and nitrided, and ships with a factory multi-port muzzle brake. This setup offers durable barrel treatment and ready compatibility with common 9mm muzzle devices.
Ergonomics and handling are enhanced by a forward-mounted, folding, non-reciprocating, ambidextrous charging handle and a textured polymer grip. The M-LOK handguard provides attachment slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, while the uniform matte black finish across the polymer frame and aluminum upper presents a cohesive, low-glare profile.
Capacity is 30+1, and the included translucent polymer, curved 9mm magazines feature witness windows. Import and maker marks are cleanly applied: "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY – GENESEO, IL" (import mark) and "HS PRODUKT KARLOVAC – MADE IN CROATIA" (maker mark and crest).
