Built under the Glenfield banner, this Model 30A delivers the classic Marlin 336-style layout with side ejection and a solid-top, drilled-and-tapped receiver. The pre-safety configuration (no cross-bolt safety) reflects its 1970s production and traditional operating controls.
The 20-inch round barrel and full-length tubular magazine provide a 5+1 capacity in .30-30. Operation is via a smooth lever-action with an exposed hammer, and the steel receiver wears a blued finish.
Factory-style iron sights include a ramped bead front and a semi-buckhorn rear with elevator. The front sight hood is not present. For optics, a Tasco 4-9x scope is installed on a receiver base with rings, and a clamp-on hammer spur extension is fitted for positive hammer control.
The hardwood stock set features a pistol-grip profile with pressed checkering and a wildlife/oak-leaf motif. Additional touches include a capped fore-end, sling swivel studs, a recoil pad, and a 13.0-inch length of pull. Manufactured by The Marlin Firearms Co., North Haven, Connecticut, U.S.A.
