Built by FN in Belgium in 1969, this Auto-5 Magnum Twelve carries the V-prefix that denotes the Magnum Twelve series. The forged steel receiver wears a deep blued finish with factory scroll engraving, including "BROWNING." on the left side and a script "Magnum" on the receiver ring. It bears Belgian proof marks and import markings for Browning Arms Company, St. Louis, MO & Montreal, P.Q.
The 29" Special Steel barrel features a ventilated rib and a single brass bead front sight. Chambered for 3" shells, it is set up for magnum loads. The barrel carries the original Belgian stamps, including "1 kg 310" (barrel weight) and "18.3" (bore), and it retains a fixed Full choke confirmed by the Belgian single-star code and the 12F choke designation.
Controls and capacity are true to the Magnum Twelve configuration. It uses the long-recoil semi-automatic action with a 4+1 tubular magazine, and includes the external magazine cut-off lever on the left side of the receiver for quick load management.
The walnut stock set includes a long forend and a pistol-grip buttstock with sharp checkering. A ventilated recoil pad with spacer provides a 14.0" length of pull. The classic vent rib with single brass bead offers a familiar Auto-5 sight picture aligned to the fixed Full choke.
