    Springfield Armory M1 Garand U.S. Navy Mk 2 Mod 1 7.62 NATO Conversion, 24-inch H&R Barrel, 1945 Receiver, Parkerized

    This Springfield Armory M1 Garand is a U.S. Navy Mk 2 Mod 1 conversion to 7.62 NATO, rebarreled with an H&R-marked 7.62 NATO barrel. The receiver was manufactured in 1945 and carries the correct Springfield heel marking. It remains in standard M1 configuration with a Parkerized finish, U.S. GI hardwood furniture, and rack numbers in the stock heel.

    It comes with a CMP hard rifle case, a CMP M1 manual, and an en-bloc clip.

    Furniture consists of a U.S. GI hardwood stock with an oil finish and matching hardwood upper and front handguards. Rack or issue numerals "296" over "822" are stamped in the stock heel, adding identifiable service character to the piece.

    Iron sights include a protected front blade and an aperture rear sight with windage and elevation drums. The rifle uses the M1’s semi-automatic, gas-operated, rotating-bolt action, features a 24-inch barrel, and is chambered in 7.62mm NATO (7.62x51). Length of pull measures 13.0 inches.
