The Magnum receiver is steel, blued, and clearly marked with both "Remington 870 MAGNUM" and "WINGMASTER." The twin action-bar design characteristic of the 870 is present, and the cross-bolt safety provides familiar controls.
The 24" barrel has a vent rib with a single front bead and a threaded muzzle collar. It is set up for the included Remington Lite Mod choke. Barrel markings authorize 2 3/4" or 3" shells when used on this Magnum receiver.
The polished blued finish is consistent with Wingmaster grade. The walnut stock and fore-end feature sharp checkering and a Wingmaster grip-cap medallion, with a gloss finish and a 14.0" length of pull.
The tubular magazine and knurled magazine cap configure the shotgun for a 2+1 capacity. Proof and inspection marks include oval REP and R.
