The SPEC15 pairs a forged aluminum-alloy receiver set with AR-15 direct-impingement operation in 5.56 NATO. The lower is marked BLACK RAIN ORDNANCE with the biohazard logo and MOD: SPEC15, and the right side is marked NEOSHO, MO U.S.A. The receiver includes a flared magazine well and an integral trigger guard. The selector markings read SAFE/FIRE/FULL with a 2-position lever installed.
The 16 in barrel is threaded and fitted with a two‑chamber side‑port muzzle brake featuring a top compensation port. This configuration is ready for use with common AR‑15 accessories that fit threaded muzzles.
