Made in Belgium and assembled in Portugal, it includes a Leupold two-piece scope base and matte rings already installed.

The BAR Mark II Safari pairs Browning’s gas-operated semi-auto system with a short-action .308 Win chambering and a 22-inch sporter-profile barrel. Capacity is 4+1 via a detachable box magazine housed behind a hinged floorplate. Controls include a right-side charging handle and a cross-bolt safety, complemented by a distinctive gold-colored trigger.
The receiver is ordnance steel with a polished blued finish and factory scroll engraving, including a "SAFARI" cartouche on the left side. The rifle is drilled and tapped, and this example comes with a Leupold two-piece base and matte rings already mounted. It is configured without iron sights.
Stocking is classic Safari: gloss walnut with cut checkering, a straight comb, and pistol-grip profile. Browning’s branded rubber recoil pad and sling swivel studs are fitted, with a measured length of pull of 13.75 inches. The wood and metal present well, with honest signs of prior handling on the wood noted above.
Manufacturing marks indicate Made in Belgium and assembled in Portugal by Browning Viana. This rifle dates to 2015. The included short-action magazine is marked for .243 Win/.308 Win compatibility, aligning with the rifle’s .308 Winchester chambering.
