The KS-12 uses an AK-pattern long-stroke piston system with a rotating bolt for robust cycling. A two-position adjustable gas regulator allows tuning for light or heavy loads, and the right-side reciprocating charging handle includes a knurled extension for positive control.
The 18.5 inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port cylindrical muzzle device. This setup provides flexibility for muzzle device changes while maintaining reliable function with a variety of 12 gauge loads.
Furniture is purpose-built: a polymer railed forend provides Picatinny sections at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, and a CAA EVG vertical foregrip is installed for added control. The DLG telescoping buttstock includes a QD sling socket, and the textured polymer pistol grip has finger grooves for a secure hold.
Controls remain familiar to AK users, including an AK-style two-position safety lever. The stamped steel receiver wears a matte black finish, matching the rest of the gun. This KS-12 is made in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Chambered for 2-3/4 and 3 inch shells, the platform accepts detachable box or drum magazines. The maximum listed capacity is 12+1, and this sale includes multiple magazines as noted above.
