The VP9 A1 K format delivers a compact footprint with a 17+1 capacity and HK's striker-fired, Browning-type operating system. The A1 trigger features a nickel-Teflon coated trigger bar and a refined break, paired with a takedown procedure that does not require a trigger pull.
The slide is optics-ready with a fitted cover plate and includes front and rear cocking serrations. A heavy-duty external extractor doubles as a loaded-chamber indicator, and a striker status indicator provides a clear visual cue. Sights are dovetailed and drift-adjustable, with a plain serrated rear and a high-visibility green tritium front dot.
The 4.09 in barrel is cold hammer-forged steel with polygonal rifling and a 1:9.8 twist, designed for durability and consistent performance. The slide wears HK's carbon-nitride hostile environment finish, and the frame is polymer with an integral 3-slot accessory rail on the dustcover.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the paddle-style magazine release and slide catches. This example bears DE, CIP N, and Ulm antler proofs and the HKI Columbus, GA import mark, confirming German manufacture and commercial proofing.
