This U.S.-made Auto-Ordnance TM1 is a semi-automatic, M1-style Thompson carbine in .45 ACP with classic American walnut furniture and a smooth, non-finned 16.5-inch barrel. It follows the M1 layout with right-side charging and ejection and fixed battle sights. The steel receiver carries correct Thompson markings and trademark stamp. It accepts stick magazines only and comes with two 30-round mags and a molded hard case with the Chicago Typewriter logo.

The TM1 uses a semi-automatic, closed-bolt blowback action chambered in .45 ACP, built around the M1-style right-side charging and ejection layout. A side-charging handle provides familiar Thompson handling, and a manual safety is fitted.
Construction is all-steel at the receiver, paired with a fixed American walnut buttstock and a matching horizontal fore-end. The 16.5-inch barrel is smooth and non-finned with no compensator. Sighting is via fixed iron sights: a front blade with protective ears and a fixed stamped rear battle sight.
This model carries period-appropriate rollmarks including 'THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE CALIBER .45M1' and a 'FIRE SAFE' legend, along with the Thompson bullet trademark stamp. It accepts stick magazines only and does not accept drums. Capacity is 30+1.
Dimensions and heft align with the platform’s robust character: overall length is approximately 38 inches with an unloaded weight of about 11.5 lb. The generous 17.0-inch length of pull complements the fixed stock for a traditional Thompson shoulder weld.
