What’s Included
- Winchester Model 94 Pre-64 Carbine, .30-30 Winchester (1963)
This 1963 carbine configuration pairs a 20-inch round blued steel barrel with a full-length tubular magazine for a 7+1 capacity. It uses a lever-action system with a top-eject receiver and a right-side loading gate, and is fitted with traditional barrel bands.
The receiver is forged steel with traditionally machined small parts, finished in bluing to match the barrel. Furniture is walnut throughout, including a straight-grip, smooth stock and a walnut carbine forend. The checkered steel shotgun-style buttplate and a 13-inch length of pull complete the carbine setup.
Sighting equipment consists of a ramped front sight with a removable hood and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a stepped elevator. The barrel is marked "WINCHESTER — MODEL 94 — 30-30 WIN." and "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL," with Winchester proof marks on the top of the receiver ring and barrel, plus MADE IN U.S.A. markings.
Additional details include two small screw holes visible on the right receiver wall. The rifle was made in the United States and represents pre-64 production with the classic Winchester Model 94 features.
