This Kel-Tec SUB-2000 Gen 1 is a 9mm Luger folding carbine with a 16.25 in barrel and a thoughtful set of installed upgrades. It features a Red Lion Precision R6B rotating aluminum quad-rail forend with index/lock collar and an R7B clamp-on front sight with click windage and elevation. A two-port muzzle brake with a toothed crown, a Tacticool bolt-tube cover, and rail covers are installed. It comes with the factory box, manual, one 17-round magazine, and the original Kel-Tec polymer handguard.

The SUB-2000 Gen 1 folds at the barrel/receiver hinge for compact storage, delivering a handy 9mm carbine that stows easily. It uses a simple blowback action with a cross-bolt safety and an under-tube charging handle for straightforward operation. The polymer skeletonized buttstock provides a 13.5 in length of pull and integrates a pistol grip.
Red Lion Precision upgrades distinguish this example. The R6B rotating quad-rail forend adds robust aluminum rails and a knurled index/lock collar for repeatable positioning, with polymer ladder covers installed. The R7B clamp-on front sight features click-adjustable windage and elevation drums, giving precise mechanical adjustments at the front sight position.
A two-port muzzle brake with a toothed crown is installed at the muzzle. Additional comfort and control enhancements include a Tacticool Products bolt-tube cover/sleeve. The installed components are complemented by the original Kel-Tec polymer handguard included in the box.
Construction emphasizes durability with a steel barrel and a glass-fiber-reinforced polymer receiver and frame. Markings include KELTEC CNC INC COCOA, FL and MADE IN USA. Capacity is 17+1 with the included 17-round detachable box magazine.
