The Px4 Storm uses a short-recoil, rotating-barrel locking system paired with a 4.02 in chrome-lined steel barrel. This setup is designed for durability and consistent performance with 9mm Luger ammunition.
The slide wears a Bruniton finish and is equipped with ambidextrous slide-mounted levers. The hammer-fired DA/SA system features an external spurred, skeletonized hammer and a firing pin block safety.
The black frame is a reinforced fiberglass-filled technopolymer with molded Px4 Storm grip panels bearing Beretta logos. An interchangeable backstrap system is included to fine-tune hand fit, and the frame integrates a three-slot Picatinny accessory rail.
Sights are a clean 3-dot setup with dovetailed front and rear units. Markings include "Made in Italy" and a Beretta U.S.A. Corp., Accokeek, MD import mark. The pistol uses a double-stack magazine system and has a frame warning indicating it will fire without a magazine (no magazine disconnect). Capacity is 10+1, and two 10-round magazines are included.
