This Detonics ScoreMaster is a full-size, stainless-steel 1911 in .45 ACP built for target-grade precision. It features a 5.25 in heavy bushingless cone-profile barrel with a reverse plug and recessed crown, fully adjustable rear target sighting with a dovetailed ramped front blade, and clean stainless construction with brushed slide flats and matte/bead-blast contours. It comes with seven magazines, the original case, spare grip panels, and Detonics paperwork, and it includes a functional grip-mounted laser with a mildly dim projection. Note: The provided Pachmayr magazines do not lock the slide to the rear.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor scratches and blemishes are present. The grip-mounted laser functions, but the projection is mildly dim.

The ScoreMaster slide is factory marked “Scoremaster,” with the chamber correctly marked “.45 ACP.” The pistol uses a heavy, bushingless cone-profile barrel with a reverse plug and a recessed crown, pairing well with the fully adjustable rear target sight and dovetailed ramped front blade for precise sight regulation.
Its stainless-steel build presents brushed slide flats with matte/bead-blast contours elsewhere, and the slide is configured with rear cocking serrations only and a lowered, flared ejection port. The result is a clean, purpose-driven target configuration consistent with the ScoreMaster line.
Controls and fire-control parts follow proven 1911 patterns: single-action, short-recoil operation; a left-side manual thumb safety; a beavertail grip safety with raised pad; a skeletonized commander-style hammer; and an aluminum 3-hole trigger. The platform is full-size and chambered in .45 ACP.
Ergonomics include installed Pachmayr wrap-around finger-groove grips (green) for a secure hold, plus spare checkered wood panels for a traditional profile. A grip-mounted laser is present and functional; its projection is mildly dim as noted.
This pistol ships with seven magazines (2x 10-round and 5x 7-round) to support a 10+1 capacity as configured. As noted, some provided Pachmayr-brand magazines do not lock the slide to the rear.
