Belgian FN production with the correct barrel address, "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q. – Made in Belgium," places this gun in the desirable era of 1970s manufacture. The classic Auto-5 "humpback" receiver profile and polished blued finish present well alongside factory light scroll engraving and "Light Twelve" script on the right side of the receiver.
The Light Twelve configuration pairs the long-recoil action with an adjustable friction-ring system for load tuning and includes a magazine cut-off lever on the left side of the receiver. The bolt is finished in the white, and the trigger is gold-colored, consistent with period details.
The ventilated rib barrel features a matted top for glare reduction and a single front bead. The Belgian "**" code indicates a Modified choke, and the chamber is cut for 2 3/4" shells. Capacity is 2+1.
The high-gloss checkered walnut pistol-grip stock and long, finger-groove forearm provide a solid, traditional feel. An FN hard buttplate embossed "Automatic Browning" with the large "FN" oval, along with a 14.5-inch length of pull, complete the classic handling characteristics.
