This pre-1994 PWA Commando AR-15 pistol pairs a 10.5 inch 5.56mm NATO barrel with classic A1 iron sights and a fixed carry-handle upper. It features a forged aluminum hard-anodized receiver marked "Commando," a direct-impingement action, and pre-ban status verified by PWA serial conventions. Custom touches include a knurled aluminum tube handguard, a stockless buffer tube with sling loop end cap, and a hex 1/2x28 thread adapter/protector. Three USGI-pattern STANAG magazines are included.

Built on a forged aluminum alloy receiver with a hard-anodized finish, this Commando-marked AR pistol retains the classic fixed carry-handle upper with forward assist and ejection-port cover. The carry handle shows an "FK" forging/inspection mark, and the rear sight is the A1-style aperture.
The 10.5 inch barrel is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and is threaded 1/2x28, with a hex-profile thread adapter/protector installed. It uses the AR-15 direct-impingement gas system and a semi-automatic action with a manual safety. Capacity is 30+1 with STANAG-pattern magazines.
Custom configuration includes an aftermarket round, knurled aluminum tube handguard for a clean, lightweight front end, and a stockless cylindrical buffer tube with a rear sling loop end cap. An A1-pattern checkered polymer pistol grip completes the classic control layout.
Sighting is straightforward and durable: a forged A-frame front sight base with adjustable post pairs to the A1 rear aperture in the carry handle. Per PWA serial conventions, this pistol was manufactured no later than 1994, placing it in the pre-ban era.
