This 92X Performance uses a steel Vertec-style frame with an extended beavertail and checkered frontstrap and backstrap for a secure, repeatable grip. The full-length dustcover houses an integral 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail, and the internal magazine well is flared and beveled to speed reloads.
The Brigadier-profile, open-top slide adds mass for recoil control and includes front and rear serrations for positive manipulation. Beretta’s classic locking-block system works with a 4.9-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel. The pistol has a 6.7-inch sight radius to support precise aiming.
The DA/SA short-recoil, locked-breech action is paired with the Xtreme-S trigger featuring a short reset and user-adjustable pre-travel and over-travel. Controls include a reversible push-button magazine release, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a firing pin block. A skeletonized hammer reduces lock time.
Sight equipment consists of a red fiber-optic front blade and a fully adjustable micrometer rear sight. Capacity is 10+1 rounds. Overall dimensions are 8.7 inches long, 1.6 inches wide, and 5.8 inches high, with an unloaded weight of approximately 47.6 ounces.
