The AL Two-Tone variant pairs a black hard-anodized aluminum-alloy frame with a brushed stainless slide for a clean, two-tone finish. Compact dimensions and single-stack .380 ACP configuration give it a slim profile.
Its DA/SA blowback action uses a fixed 3.6-inch stainless barrel. The decocker provides safe transition to double-action, and the hammer is a partially shrouded short-spur design. This model does not have an external slide stop.
Controls are classic to the P232 series, including a heel-type magazine release. Capacity is 7+1 with the included single-stack magazines.
Sights are fixed, with a front blade and a rear drift-adjustable dovetail secured by a set screw. The slide has wide vertical rear serrations and a longitudinal anti-glare rib to aid manipulation and sight picture.
Markings include German proof marks and a SIGARMS Inc., Exeter–NH import stamp. Notably, the slide is roll-marked "P232 SL" while the configuration of this pistol is the AL Two-Tone alloy-frame variant.
