The Prodigy AOS uses a 5-inch, bushingless, match-grade bull barrel made from forged stainless steel with a 1:16 twist, paired to a forged carbon-steel slide and frame finished in black Cerakote. A polymer wraparound double-stack grip module provides the DS form factor and 20+1 capacity with the included magazines.
Springfield’s Agency Optic System steel plate integrates the black serrated rear sight and provides a modular footprint for optic mounting. A green fiber-optic front sight, front and rear cocking serrations, and a full-length Picatinny/1913 accessory rail on the dustcover round out the slide and frame features.
This example is custom-tuned with a pinned beavertail grip safety, a Prodigy reliability and ignition package, a medium flat black trigger, an EGW black hammer, an EGW slide stop, a Dawson toolless guide rod, a Wilson Combat ambidextrous safety fitted, a single-stage trigger job, and a fitted magwell.
The pistol retains single-action operation with a flat-faced, single-stage trigger, a skeletonized hammer, and ambidextrous thumb and grip safeties. Magazines are cross-compatible with common 2011-pattern platforms. Dimensions for the 5-inch variant are approximately 8.5 inches in overall length, 5.5 inches in height, and 33 ounces in weight.
