This 2240 runs on a 12-gram CO2 Powerlet and uses a knurled front end cap for quick cartridge changes. The single-shot, bolt-action design is straightforward and reliable, with a brass bolt and a left-side bolt handle for easy cycling.
The 7.75 in rifled steel barrel supports accurate shooting, while a barrel band secures the barrel to the CO2 tube for added stability. A polymer breech with an integral rear sight base provides a solid mounting point for the factory rear sight.
