This Century Arms–imported MKE AP53 is a compact HK53-pattern 5.56x45 mm roller-delayed platform built on a stamped-steel receiver with an 8.3 inch cold hammer forged barrel. It retains the classic HK-style diopter sight system and fixed OD green A2-style stock with a trapdoor cleaning compartment. The rifle comes with two 30-round HK33/53-pattern polymer magazines and the original factory hard case.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There are minor exterior blemishes and light surface scratches. The chamber is generally clean. The bore and rifling present a very bright, shiny appearance.

The AP53 uses the proven roller-delayed blowback system with a left-side charging handle on the cocking tube, delivering the familiar HK53-style manual of arms in a 5.56x45 mm package. The stamped-steel receiver shows correct HK-style weld geometry and factory MKE AP53 model markings.
The 8.3 inch cold hammer forged barrel is paired with an HK53-style 4-prong flash hider for a compact, purpose-built front end. The slim polymer handguard keeps the profile trim while providing durable heat-resistant coverage.
Sights are the HK diopter type, with a hooded front post and a rotary rear drum that includes the yellow 2 and 4 index. This sighting setup offers precise, repeatable adjustments consistent with HK53-pattern rifles.
Furniture includes a fixed A2-style polymer stock in OD green with a ribbed buttplate, sling swivel, and a trapdoor cleaning compartment. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. The polymer pictogram Navy-pattern trigger housing features a 0–1 selector. Capacity is 30+1, and the platform accepts HK33/53 pattern magazines.
