What's Included
- Smith & Wesson Model 19-3 Combat Magnum revolver (2.5 in barrel, nickel finish)
- Aftermarket synthetic stag-style stocks (installed)
The Model 19-3 is a K-frame DA/SA revolver with a six-shot cylinder and round-butt configuration, built in the United States. The yoke is marked "MOD. 19-3," and the chambers are countersunk (recessed), a hallmark feature of this era.
The 2.5 in carbon-steel barrel is pinned and features a heavy profile with an under-barrel ejector-rod shroud and an integral rib. The topstrap and rib are serrated for glare reduction, and sighting is handled by a pinned red ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear.
Construction is carbon steel with a nickel finish, complemented by a color case-hardened hammer and trigger. Rollmarks include: "MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS., TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT.
OFF."
This example wears aftermarket synthetic stag-style stocks (non-factory), fitted to the round-butt frame. The combination of its compact barrel length, adjustable sights, and pinned-and-recessed features reflects the Combat Magnum series design priorities of the period.
