This Metro Arms American Classic 1911 Government in 9mm Luger pairs the traditional full-size 1911 format with an all-steel build and a 5-inch barrel. It features fixed dovetailed sights, a lowered ejection port, and classic GI-style bushing/plug. Import marks from TriStar and Metro Arms are present, and the pistol is in very good overall condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore.

The Government-length slide and 5-inch steel barrel follow the classic 1911 pattern with a standard non-railed dust cover and GI-style bushing and plug. The pistol uses a single-action, short-recoil, locked-breech system and is built on an all-steel frame and slide with a uniform matte dark finish.
Controls include a left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a raised pad. The solid, smooth-faced trigger, skeletonized Commander-style hammer, and checkered magazine release are paired with a flat mainspring housing featuring vertical serrations and a smooth front strap.
The slide is cut with rear cocking serrations and a lowered ejection port. Sights are fixed, mil-spec pattern: a dovetailed front blade and a fixed, dovetailed square-notch rear, offering a straightforward sight picture.
Branding and markings include the "AMERICAN CLASSIC" slide mark, the TriStar oval logo on the slide, and frame import information from Metro Arms and TriStar. Chambered in 9mm Luger with an 8+1 capacity, it measures approximately 8.5 inches in overall length and weighs about 2.47 lb.
