The slide uses Beretta's open-top design with an external extractor and dovetailed sight cuts. Its 4.9" chrome-lined barrel features a recessed crown, and the pistol uses a captive recoil spring assembly paired with an internal frame-mounted recoil buffer.
Controls include an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker and a firing pin block. Dovetailed front and rear sights are installed. A factory warning marking indicates the pistol can fire without the magazine inserted.
The dustcover hosts a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with three slots for mounting compatible accessories. Capacity is 17+1 and this pistol comes with three 17-round steel magazines.
