The 3.1 in non-ported bull barrel with a crowned muzzle pairs with a 0.250 in one-piece full-length guide rod and a 14-lb flat-wire spring. This compact system is designed for consistent lockup and dependable cycling in a short-slide format.
The slide is machined from 416 stainless steel with front and rear cocking serrations. A removable rear-sight plate sits over the optics cut, and the slide accepts interchangeable RDS plates for mounting compatible red dot sights.
The frame is a billet-machined 7075-T6 aluminum unit with an integrated accessory rail. A textured polymer compact grip module with a flared magwell supports fast magazine seating while keeping the pistol at approximately 24 oz unloaded.
Controls follow a single-action-only 1911 layout with an ambidextrous thumb safety and grip safety. A flat-faced, skeletonized trigger with lightening cuts and vertical serrations complements the skeletonized commander-style hammer. Sights include a red fiber-optic front and a black square-notch rear mounted on the removable plate.
This Forza 3.1 uses MBX double-stack 1911 magazines and is supplied here with 10-round mags for a 10+1 capacity. It is manufactured by GP Arms LLC in Dandridge, Tennessee, USA.
