What’s Included
- Remington Model 1100 Field 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun as described
The 24-inch steel barrel retains its original Improved Cylinder marking and has been fitted with an aftermarket adjustable external Poly-Choke-type device featuring a ventilated compensator body. The ventilated rib provides a clear sighting plane, with a red front bead positioned on the choke housing.
This Model 1100 Field is chambered for 2-3/4-inch shells only per the barrel marking. Within the Model 1100 family, barrels were offered in both 2-3/4- and 3-inch chamberings; this example is specifically configured for 2-3/4-inch ammunition.
The receiver and barrel wear a blued finish, complemented by walnut furniture in a gloss finish. The stock and fore-end feature pressed fleur-de-lis checkering, a black grip cap with white diamond inlay, and a Remington ventilated recoil pad with spacer. Length of pull measures 14.5 inches, and a sling swivel stud is installed on the buttstock.
Factory scroll engraving decorates the receiver, and the barrel carries patent-number roll marks near the receiver. This is a Standard/Field configuration with a 2+1 capacity and a gas-operated, semi-automatic action. Country of origin is the United States.
Sighting is straightforward with the ventilated rib and red front bead. The adjustable Poly-Choke-type device allows the user to set choke constriction at the muzzle, while the original Improved Cylinder designation remains on the barrel itself.
