This American Classic Government model features a steel frame and slide finished in silver with brushed flats and matte rounds. It follows the traditional Government-length format with a 5-inch barrel, GI-style recoil spring plug, and standard barrel bushing. The slide has rear cocking serrations only, and the front strap is smooth.
Controls are classic 1911: single-action operation with a single-sided left manual thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. It includes a long, solid trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer for a familiar 1911 feel.
Sight layout is fixed 3-dot, with a dovetailed front and a low-profile Novak-style rear. The slide carries American Classic and TriStar rollmarks with the MA/MAC logo, along with import markings denoting its manufacture by Metro Arms in the Philippines and import by TriStar Arms.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, this full-size 1911 has a 9+1 capacity. The included single-stack 9-round magazine is Mec-Gar branded, aligning with the model's reliable single-stack 1911 magazine format.
