The Rock Standard configuration delivers the classic Government-size 1911 format with a 5-inch bushing barrel and GI-style recoil spring plug, chambered in 9mm Luger with a 9+1 capacity. The single-action, semi-automatic system follows the 1911 platform fundamentals for familiar handling.
Construction is all steel with a matte dark finish on the slide and frame. The slide has rear serrations only, and sights are fixed and dovetailed, with a plain front blade and a rear notch. The frontstrap is smooth, and the mainspring housing is flat and serrated, paired with black synthetic checkered double-diamond grips.
Controls include a left-side manual thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. The fire-control suite features a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a lightweight three-hole trigger for a crisp, consistent break.
Markings include "M1911 A1 - FS" on the slide, "CAL. 9MM" on the barrel hood, and the Rock Island Armory crest on the left rear of the slide. The pistol was manufactured in the Philippines and is import-marked APINTL – Pahrump NV, ACP Philippines. Manufacturer part number is 51632.
