Manufactured by Miroku in Japan under Winchester license, this Short Rifle configuration stays true to the 1892 design while adding precise modern fit and finish. The polished blued steel receiver and blued steel barrel present a classic look with durable metalwork throughout.
The 20 inch round barrel is chambered for .357 Magnum (marked "357 Mag ONLY") and uses a 1:18.75 twist. A full-length tubular magazine provides a 10 round capacity, paired with the action’s top-ejection for authentic operation.
Sighting is straightforward and practical: a dovetailed front blade with a brass bead and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The result is a sight picture that complements the carbine-length barrel and the rifle’s handling characteristics.
The walnut furniture includes a straight-grip stock with a crescent buttplate and a matching walnut forend, finished in a satin/oil treatment. Length of pull measures 12.75 inches. Safety features include a top-tang sliding safety and a rebounding hammer for secure handling.
