The Superior Grade series delivers a Government-size 1911 chambered in 9mm Luger with a 5-inch barrel and a single-stack 9+1 capacity. It uses the Browning tilting-barrel system with a standard barrel bushing and a short GI-length guide rod for a classic 1911 setup.
The slide is finished in black with front and rear cocking serrations, anti-glare serrations along the top, and a lowered ejection port. Low-profile Novak-style sights feature a fiber-optic front and a two-dot rear for a clear, fast sight picture.
The steel frame is finished in black and set up with a flat, checkered mainspring housing and a smooth front strap. Checkered walnut grips with gold 'CD' medallions provide a traditional look and positive purchase.
Controls and fire-control parts include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, a grip safety, a skeletonized three-hole trigger, and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer. Approximate overall length is 8.63 inches and weight is about 2.57 pounds.
