Introduced in 2024, the Taurus Deputy marks Taurus's return to a centerfire Single Action Army–style revolver. This all-steel, six-shot .357 Magnum features a classic 4.75 inch barrel, fixed sights, and a polished deep black/blue finish with checkered black grip panels bearing the Taurus logo.

The Deputy is a single-action-only, gate-loading design with a traditional four-position, wide-spur hammer and a transfer-bar safety. Its six-shot fluted cylinder and steel construction deliver a faithful SAO layout paired with modern safety engineering.
The revolver wears a polished deep black/blue finish across its steel frame, receiver, and cylinder. The 4.75 inch barrel length follows a classic configuration for this style.
Sighting is straightforward and durable with a fixed blade front and a square-notch groove in the topstrap. A right-side loading gate and a full-length ejector-rod housing with a grooved ejector head support simple loading and unloading.
