The PPQ M2 configuration brings a reversible push-button magazine release and ambidextrous extended slide stop levers for intuitive control. Walther's Quick Defense trigger delivers a short, tactile reset designed for fast, consistent follow-up shots.
The pistol wears a factory Tungsten Grey finish on its steel slide and polymer frame, confirmed by the matching case label. The grip uses cross-directional texturing for a secure hold, and an integral 3-slot Picatinny rail supports common weapon-mounted accessories.
Sight regulation is straightforward with a 3-dot setup: a white-dot front sight and a drift-adjustable rear. The 4" steel barrel pairs with a striker-fired, short-recoil action, and the full-size frame offers a 15+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
Proof and origin markings include DE country code, CIP N nitro proof, and the Ulm stag-antler, with "Made in Germany," "CARL WALTHER ULM/DO.," and Walther Arms Fort Smith, AR import marks. The BF date code indicates 2015. The serial appears on the barrel hood, frame, and slide backplate, consistent with factory practice. The PPQ line has since been discontinued and replaced by the PDP, underscoring the PPQ's distinct place in Walther's lineup.
