The Black Ops is a purpose-built, full-size 1911 with a 5-inch match-grade, bushing-fitted, ramped barrel and a full-length guide rod. Its stainless-steel frame and slide wear a durable black Ionbond/PVD finish, and the frame incorporates an integral accessory rail for mounting a light. The single-stack design is compatible with both standard 8-round and extended 10-round magazines, with both types included here.
Sight acquisition is handled by fixed Trijicon tritium 3-dot night sights, dovetailed front and rear, with an H3 13 date code. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered and flared ejection port to aid reliability and manipulation.
Para's Power Extractor and the conventional barrel bushing system contribute to dependable cycling and consistent lockup. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. A skeletonized trigger with an overtravel stop screw and a skeletonized commander-style hammer complete the fire-control setup.
The grip frame wears black/gray textured G10 panels for traction, and this example is fitted with a wrap-around finger-groove frontstrap sleeve. The frame is marked PARA USA Charlotte, NC, and the pistol is made in the United States.
