The Legion treatment gives this P229 a durable Legion Gray PVD finish and the signature LEGION chevron mark on the slide. The stainless-steel slide pairs with an aluminum-alloy frame to balance durability and carry-weight efficiency. Factory markings include "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON-NH-USA," and the chamber is marked "9mm x 19."
Ergonomics are enhanced with an extended beavertail, front- and back-strap checkering, and an undercut trigger guard. Textured black G10 grips with Legion medallions provide a confident hold, and the slide features forward and rear serrations for positive manipulation. An accessory rail accommodates the included light/laser.
The DA/SA action uses a decocking lever and an external spur hammer, complemented by a curved, non-skeletonized trigger. Sighting is handled by tritium 3-dot night sights, with a bright green ring front blade for fast indexing and a rear sight with twin tritium lamps.
This compact 9mm has a 3.9-inch barrel and runs double-stack P229-1 pattern magazines for a 15+1 capacity. One 15-round Mec-Gar magazine is included.
Installed on the rail, the Gmconn GM-1091 weapon light with integrated green laser adds a ready-to-use illumination and aiming option.
