The Regulator configuration delivers a true full-size 1911 platform in 9mm Luger with single-action-only operation, a 5-inch government-length barrel, and a 9+1 single-stack capacity. Its short-recoil, tilting-barrel system uses a separate barrel bushing and a short guide rod, preserving the classic 1911 mechanical layout.
Both slide and frame are forged steel with a mirror-polished metallic finish. The slide features rear vertical serrations and sterile flanks for a clean, uncluttered appearance. Import and caliber markings are present: TISAS Knoxville, TN; ZIG M1 Turkiye; CAL 9mm Luger.
Controls follow a traditional pattern with a checkered magazine release, single-sided thumb safety, and a grip safety. The long, lightened 3-hole trigger and the wide spur, checkered A1-style hammer complete the classic control set. The front strap is smooth, and the arched mainspring housing is vertically serrated.
GI-style fixed sights include a small front blade and a fixed rear notch suited to the pistol's straightforward, service-style configuration. Black/gray textured synthetic grip panels with radial sunburst milling are secured by brass/gold-tone screws, adding an attractive contrast to the bright finish.
A factory .38 Super barrel is included loose and uninstalled. It is a bushing-fit 1911 barrel from Tisas, provided as an accessory with this pistol.
