The GSG-922 CA is a compact, officer-length 1911-pattern pistol chambered in .22 LR and built in Germany. This California-compliant variant pairs a 3.4 in non-threaded barrel with a single-action, straight blowback system optimized for high-velocity ammunition. It features adjustable three-dot (yellow) sights, an integral 3-slot Picatinny rail, and an ergonomic control layout in a matte black finish with German proof and ATI import marks.

This compact 1911-format .22 LR uses a single-action, straight blowback action tuned for high-velocity ammunition. The 3.4 in non-threaded barrel and officer-length profile keep it compact while retaining familiar 1911 handling.
The sighting system includes a yellow three-dot set with an adjustable rear (elevation screw) and interchangeable-height front post. This allows zeroing with a range of .22 LR loads while keeping a clean, bright sight picture.
Controls and ergonomics are 1911-inspired and feature an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, a firing-pin safety, and a magazine safety. The pistol includes a checkered magazine release, a skeletonized three-hole aluminum-style trigger with an over-travel screw, and a Commander-style skeletonized hammer. The mainspring housing is straight and vertically serrated, and the textured black double-diamond grip panels provide a secure hold.
The matte black slide and frame have front and rear cocking serrations and an integral 3-slot Picatinny rail on the dust cover for mounting accessories. Markings include DE CIP N proof marks, "MADE IN GERMANY," and the ATI Summerville, SC import mark. The CA submodel is compliant for California and carries a 10+1 capacity with the included factory magazine.
