What’s Included
- VEB Ernst-Thalmann Makarov PM pistol
- 1x 8-round steel single-stack magazine with long witness slot and electro-penciled number on the spine
Built in East Germany during the Cold War, this PM is marked with the DDR boxed K100 acceptance proof and imported by C.P. TRAD., St. Albans, VT. The pistol retains D-prefix serial markings with the slide and frame matching, aligning its components to the same production range.
The PM uses a fixed-barrel blowback design with a 3.68 in barrel and double-action/single-action operation. Capacity is 8+1 with standard single-stack magazines, delivering the classic Makarov configuration in a compact package.
Controls include a slide-mounted safety/decocker and a heel-type magazine release. There is no external slide-release lever; the slide locks open on an empty magazine via the follower, consistent with East German PM pattern features.
Construction is all steel with a high-polish blued finish. The slide wears vertical rear serrations and an anti-glare rib. Sights are fixed, with an integral front blade and a drift-adjustable rear notch. The one-piece wraparound black synthetic grip has a pebble texture and a lanyard loop.
