The Hammerli Forge H1 is a recent, German-made .22 LR 1911-pattern pistol built with a straight-blowback, fixed-barrel system in a Commander-length 4.25 inch configuration. It features matte black slide and frame finishes, checkered wood grips, and dovetailed sights with a windage-adjustable rear. Proofed with German CIP nitro marks and a DE 24 year code, it includes clear importer and manufacturer markings and ships with a 10-round magazine.

This Forge H1 follows the familiar 1911 platform with single-action-only operation and both a left-side manual thumb safety and a grip safety. The straight-blowback, fixed-barrel design is purpose-built for .22 LR and pairs with a 10+1 capacity.
The slide wears a matte black finish with front and rear cocking serrations, and the frame matches in matte black. A skeletonized three-hole trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer round out the 1911 feature set, complemented by checkered wood grip panels.
Sighting is through dovetailed iron sights: a single white-dot front and a square-notch rear that is windage-adjustable via a setscrew. An integral Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover supports common weaponlights or other rail-mounted accessories as needed.
Markings include German CIP nitro proof stamps with a DE 24 year code and a UX mark near the ejection port, as well as the importer legend “HAMMERLI ARMS FT. SMITH, AR.” The pistol is made in Germany by Umarex and is sized to fit standard 1911 holsters.
