The Hellcat’s billet-machined steel slide and hammer-forged steel barrel wear a durable Melonite finish. A dual captive recoil spring with a full-length guide rod supports reliable operation in a compact format. The polymer frame uses Springfield’s Adaptive Grip Texture for confident control.
The factory U-Dot sight system pairs a tritium front with a high-visibility yellow-green ring and a tactical rack U-notch rear. Deep front and rear slide serrations, with the rear serrations wrapping over the top of the slide, aid manipulation. A loaded chamber witness port provides a quick visual status check.
Despite its micro footprint, the Hellcat offers strong capacity. It ships with an 11-round compact magazine and a 13-round extended magazine, providing a 13+1 capacity when using the extended mag. A single-slot accessory rail allows mounting a compact light or similar accessory.
Dimensions and weight are tailored for carry: 6.0 in overall length, 1.0 in width, and 18.3 oz (flush) or 18.6 oz (extended). Marked "U.S. PRODUCT MADE IN CROATIA, GENESEO, IL," it is built by HS Produkt in Croatia for Springfield Armory and uses a 1:10 twist rate barrel.
