This recent-release Forge H1 stands out as a compact .22 LR built on a 1911 platform with a commander-length 4.25 inch fixed barrel and straight blowback operation. It features aluminum-alloy slide and frame construction, 3-dot sights with a windage-adjustable rear, and a multi-slot Picatinny accessory rail. Notably, it includes nine factory 12-round magazines along with aftermarket recoil springs and full-length guide rod assemblies (not installed). Marked "MADE IN GERMANY BY UMAREX" with CIP proofs, it fits standard 1911 holsters and accepts aftermarket 1911 grip panels.

The Forge H1 uses a single-action-only, straight blowback system with a fixed 4.25 inch barrel, delivering a classic 1911 manual of arms in .22 LR. Capacity is 12+1 using the included factory magazines.
The slide and frame are aluminum alloy with front and rear cocking serrations. A skeletonized rowel hammer and a skeletonized three-hole trigger complement the 1911 controls, including both a thumb safety and a grip safety.
Targeting is handled by 3-dot sights: a dovetailed front with a white dot and a dovetailed rear that is windage-adjustable via set screw. The dustcover carries a multi-slot Picatinny accessory rail for lights or other compatible accessories.
Grip panels are brown, checkered synthetic, and the pistol accepts aftermarket 1911 grip panels and fits standard 1911 holsters. Markings include CIP N and DE24 UX proof stamps, "MADE IN GERMANY BY UMAREX," and "HAMMERLI ARMS FT. SMITH, AR." MSRP is listed at $399.00.
