This Ruger AR-556 stands out with an aftermarket teal/turquoise refinish applied to the receivers, handguard, and stock. Built on forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a flat-top Picatinny upper, it features a 16-inch cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel that is threaded 1/2x28 with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor. Manufactured in 2017, it comes with two 40-round Magpul PMAG GEN M3 magazines and retains Ruger factory markings on the receiver.

The custom teal/turquoise refinish covers the forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers, the carbine-length ribbed handguard, and the M4-type six-position collapsible stock. The black polymer pistol grip with finger grooves provides a visual contrast and retains the Ruger logo.
The 16-inch barrel is made from 4140 chrome-moly steel, is cold hammer-forged, and uses a 1:8 RH twist suitable for a range of 5.56 NATO loads. It is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor. The rifle uses a carbine-length direct-impingement gas system and has M4-style feed-ramp cuts at the barrel extension.
The flat-top upper receiver integrates a Picatinny rail, forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection-port cover. Sighting equipment includes a fixed A2-style front sight tower with sling swivel and a polymer flip-up aperture rear sight.
Furniture includes a glass-filled nylon, two-piece carbine-length handguard and an M4-type six-position collapsible stock with sling loop and checkered buttplate. Capacity is 40+1 when using the included two 40-round Magpul PMAG GEN M3 magazines. Receiver markings include AR-556 and Ruger — Mayodan, NC USA.
