The rifle follows the A1-pattern configuration with a fixed carry handle that has a fixed rear aperture, no brass deflector, a forward assist, and an ejection port cover. Up front, it uses an A-frame front sight base with an elevation-adjustable post and a forging mark "P." The handguards are the period-correct, vented, two-piece triangular style made from polymer.
The 20 inch barrel is threaded, and the action is semi-automatic with direct impingement. Controls include a standard charging handle and a manual safety with SAFE/FIRE selector markings. The stated maximum capacity is 30+1.
The fixed polymer stock has a trap-door buttplate and rear sling swivel, and the rifle retains sling points at the front (under the FSB) and at the stock toe. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches. The pistol grip is the checkered polymer AR-15 pattern.
The aluminum receiver shows Century’s rollmarks: "CENTURY ARMS, INC GEORGIA, VERMONT," "C15 Sporter," "CAL. 5.56mm (.223)," and "MODEL C15A1." The bolt carrier presents a bright, metallic finish. Origin is the United States, and the example aligns with late-2000s production.
