The Viper Western Camo variant pairs Henry's proven U.S. Survival AR-7 design with a distinctive camouflage finish across the receiver and stock. Marked Rice Lake, WI, this model reflects current Henry production and carries the manufacturer part number H002VWP.
Its takedown system uses a tool-less knurled barrel collar, allowing the barrel to remove quickly. The barrel and receiver stow neatly inside the hollow buttstock, which features bright orange internal storage for easy visibility. A removable rubber buttplate seals the compartment.
Operation is semi-automatic with a straight blowback action and a right-side reciprocating charging handle. The rifle feeds from detachable 8-round magazines, and the full-size synthetic polymer stock keeps weight down while providing integral storage features.
Sights include a fixed front blade with protective ears and a receiver-mounted rear sight. The receiver also has 3/8 inch rimfire dovetail grooves for mounting compatible optics, offering straightforward sighting upgrades without altering the rifle's profile.
